Overview of Learner Supports at IMI

Available Resources

The Knowledge Centre Library is available to all learners studying at IMI. We have a large collection of both physical and electronic resources to support the learning, research, and continuing professional development of our participants. This collection contains physical books, access to journal databases, and even audiobooks.

Guides and Training Materials

Additionally, we provide resources and training materials available on our Academic Supports page to develop learner's skills in academic writing, research, referencing, studying, and relevant software.

Staff Support

We often collaborate with programme staff to provide in-class presentations on library orientation, academic integrity, and finding resources. We also offer one-on-one meetings with learners if extra guidance and support is needed. To facilitate equal support to all learners, we offer these meetings both in person or remotely. If selecting a time to visit is difficult, we also provide drop in hours on Tuesday and Wednesday from 1- 2 pm when a librarian will be waiting to answer any questions learners might have.
