January is an ideal time to change our habits and take better care of ourselves and others. With this in mind, the IMI Knowledge Centre have curated a selection of books about wellbeing. There are approximately 20 books in the collection covering the following topics:
Depression, Grief, Dementia, Anger, Stress reduction, Birth and Miscarraige, Panic attacks, Assertiveness, Obesity and Eating Disorders, Anxiety and Coping after Cancer.
Titles include:
"Think like a Monk, Train your mind for peace and purpose every day" by Jay Shetty
"The Joy of Movement, how exercise helps us to find happiness, hope, connection and courage" by Kelly McGonigal.
"An Introduction to Coping with Anxiety" by Brenda Hogan and Lee Brosan
You can search these titles on the book catalogue (keyword is Wellbeing collection) and then, once the title is requested, you can either collect the book in person or we can post the books out to your home address.
